Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good; that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding; and that there is always tomorrow. OMG!!!!
I'd almost forgotten how tiny he was! I was scared to hold him, though I never told you that. Thank goodness, that Jim was able to swaddle that little boy so tightly that he felt like a little block of wood. LOL. But that little left hand always managed to find it's way out of the swaddling. I couldn't believe that I had finally become a grandmother.
And that I got the PERFECT grandson. Grandpa agrees too! There was always an argument as to who would get to hold him next. Unfortunately, for Barbara, we never thought to let her have a turn until she would let us know in no uncertain terms that SHE was the mother. OH, YEAH? Well, I was THE grandmother! But Jim always pulled rank and put me/us in our place. (OK! me).LOL. Oh, how we love that little boy. I believe that everyone who meets him falls in love with him. How can one not fall in love with such an amazing person. Thanks for the pix, Barbara. Some of them I don't have.
Lots of love, hugs and kisses

Ditto from us for Grandma and Grandpa's say.
OMG isn't Bennet simply amazing. What a gift and what a joy.
4.5 pounds doesn't seem possible when we look at the 'big husky boy' he is today. It must be all the loving he receives from everyone and gives to everyone. He really believes in sharing 'the love'.
Another miracle.
Love and God Bless

Grandma & Grandpa and Mummu & Poppa - Well said - I couldn't agree more!
Bennett was so little! He was so cute (and of course still is!)
