Happy Birthday Bennett!!

I can't believe it has been 2 years already. Everyone always says it goes too fast and it's true. My baby is becoming a little boy. A wonderful little boy who has worked hard and accomplished so much this year. We love you and are so proud of you Bennett!

The video is about 8 minutes long. It's hard to condense one year into less than that! Making and watching the video has helped me step back and see just how much progress Bennett has made.

It doesn't hurt to watch someone who is so cute too. He is just a super handsome little guy! Love the videos and pictures. Totally an amazing year!!!

That video is beautiful! Just the first few notes of the songs and I'm already tearing up! Bennett has come a long way. I'm so glad that I've found your blog and am able to watch Bennett progress!

P.S. I linked your blog to mine--feel free to do the same.

Happy, happy birthday, Bennett. What an amazing video! He is so photogenic. And what good hair!!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I can't imagine having to deal with children and being incapacitated on top of everything. You have REALLY been through the mill, from conception on. Luckily, Bennett seems to really be coming along, and the cerebral palsy—as awfully scary as the words are—seems mild.

He is very lucky to have you as a mom.

Happy birthday Bennett!!!
I played your video 5 times today and cried every time. You have such a sucky grandmother! I'll watch it again before I go to bed and I know that I will cry again. It's beyond amazing what you and your mommy and daddy have gone through in the past couple of years. I always knew that I had a strong daughter (your mommy), however, this has made her even stronger in spite of all the bad stuff that has happened. BUT then there is all the good stuff that happened too!!! You are both survivors, and the word "survivors" is not to be taken lightly. It has all come at a great price. A lot of physical pain that your mommy has suffered since the accident and a lot of mental pain wondering if you would be able to come to full term (you almost made it...your were taken 3 weeks early by emergency c section)
You will hear all about it as you grow up. You, mommy and daddy are strong willed people and I have no doubt that you will all face each new challenge head on with the love of your family....
I wasn't able to go to see you today to wish you a "face to face" happy birthday because of the storm and I didn't want to call to talk to you because you would have cried.
You are a strong willed little boy and you are not afraid to make it know what it is that you want. You are also learning sign language much faster than grandma and grandpa.
You are the cutest little boy I have ever seen. You are cute on the outside but also cute on the inside with a sence of humour and you just love to make people laugh. And of course you cheer for yourself just as hard as all of us so when you walk a few steps. I am honoured to be your grandma and I'mn sure that grandpa feels the same way.
Tomorrow is visit grandma and grandpa day. We love those. We get to play all kinds of games, however, we are at a lost to understand some of the rules that you make up. Geeeeeeeee, we're dumb! I'm espescially looking forward to our afternoon nap. The highlight of my day. You cuddle up to me and my heart melts. Best of all you won't allow grandpa to get in bed with us. We heard that you won't let poppa in bed with you and mummu and you show him the door. You are just tooooo funny. We love you so much.
We are so fortunate to have you.
Lots of love, hugs and kisses
Grandma and Grandpa

one of these days I'll figure out how to put my name on the commnet rather than ''anonymous''

What a beautiful video and an amazing tribute. I tear up watching it and seeing how far he has come in one year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENNETT!!!

Barbara - It is so hard to hear the words of CP, but I feel so blessed to have met this circle of Mommy's where we can share the joys, the tears and watch each others amazing babies grow into amazing toddlers. I cannot wait to see what the next year brings for Bennett and who knows, maybe sometime soon we will be fortunate enough to meet in person so the kiddos can have some play times together!

Bennett - You are one amazing little guy! Happy 2nd birthday!!

Happy Birthday Bennett!

What a year it's been for all of you, but look...you made it through! Bennett has made such incredible progress in the short amount of time we've been lucky enough to know him. Can't wait to see what he's doing next year at this time!

Thank you Barbara for putting together this video and the music says so much.

A picture is worth a thousand words so we can not begin to put a price on the 'Love Story Video - A Work in Motion'.

Bennett, you have given all of us great pleasure and 'tears of joy' with your love and achievements. We are all so blessed to be in Bennett's 'circle of family and friends'. As Grandma says 'that's our boy'!

We are so looking forward to sharing and seeing the advancements in year three.

Because Mommy, Daddy and Bennett all know the meaning of hard work and long hours it is only fitting that all should enjoy the fruits of their labour (as put together in the Year Two Video) and share the 'growth and progress of Bennett' with all of us.

Yes, tears flow with each viewing but thank you so much for your caring and sharing and love.

God Bless
Mummu and Poppa
