Yesterday afternoon Bennett and I took advantage of the cool weather and baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies. This time we baked them from scratch rather than asking the Pillsbury dough-boy for help. We both pigged out on these delicious treats which without a doubt ruined our supper. However, life is too short to not have at least one supper ruined by warm chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven topped off with a glass of ice cold milk!

Oh yum! They look so delicious. I would kill for one right now, especially since it's really cold over here. Glad Bennett and you enjoyed them. He is very cute, as usual!
Oh those look SO good!! I have a giant bag of chocolate chips in my cupboard you might have given me an idea. Though you're right the last two days were chilly I should've did them then. Although it's only 45 degrees right now. Brrr, it's supposed to almost reach 80 eventually.
Good for you guys! Cookies for dinner is okay in my book!
Yay for ruining dinner! The cookies look wonderful and kudos to you for being willing to let Bennett eat his dessert first!
test
Erin - New Zealand in pretty far away - otherwise I would send you some for sure. I used to bake them a lot in university - especially during exams!
Dawn - Our weather has changed back to HOT - I'm sure yours has too. It got hot again just as we finished the last cookie...too hot to cook anymore...
Mo - Thanks for the support! I felt guilty for a little while but it faded quickly..
Kiera - The cookies were really good - too good! I would love more but it's too hot and besides I definitely don't "need" more.
