Happy Halloween!

It has been a pretty quiet night. We've had about 30 kids come to the house and Bennett made it out to two. He's been pretty sick with a cold the last couple of days and he doesn't really eat candy so he doesn't care. What he does care about is when the kids leave. He gets very annoyed that kids come to the door and don't stay to play. Jim and I on the other hand had a very good time decorating. Our pumpkins look great but the pictures don't do them justice so I decided not to post them.
He makes a very cute little pumpkin doesn't he?

Hi Bennett,,
you just look toooooo cute to go!!!
I've never seen a pumpkin as cute as you, not even in your mommy's garden. I just want to smoooooch you all up. Your house is the best decorated one around! That ramp is handy and I'm happy that it can be used for other things besides taking your mommy to appointmnets etc.
We have had about 26 kids, which is a record for us. When we lived in the trailer park I used to make up treats for at least 250 kids and I often ran out of treats. No such problem here. It seems that the kids are dressing up more for Halloween than ever before. I love the costumes! But I love a Bennet in a pumkin more than anyone else!!!
Lots of love, hugs and kisses,
Grandma and Grandpa

So cute!! I love the little hat - it's almost like a beret and gives Bennett a very French je ne sais quoi!

And you weren't kidding when you said you like decorating the house...it looks great! Maybe next year we might even make it by for trick or treating!

Kara - Ha - I said the same thing about the hat - I kept calling him my little "citrouille". Our house was definitely the most decorated in our neighbourhood although the people across the street made a very good effort.

Wonderful photos of our little pumpkin. I hear the original costume purchased by mumu and poppa did not fit - dit it dad? (Dad thought it was fine - I think it's a guy thing - hold it up and if it looks good, well then, just go with it - hope I'm not rash-judging your efforts Jim.).

Apparently, Roberta tells me we had 289 "Trick or Treaters" at our house on Valleystream - and the Sisters and Teddy had a ball dolling out treats.

I'm sorry to hear that Bennett has a cold - but with daycare comes all the germs that naturally fly around kids who share - everything, including food, licked utensils, kissed toys, etc.

I was so happy to hear about Bennett's progress in the OT department. Don't worry - he is being loved and nurtured by everyone around him physically and in cyberspace. With that face (and that berret), this boy is going to go places!

Lots of love,
Auntie Bonnie

Oh he looks so cute!! I'm sorry he wasn't feeling so well. We've had a few sickly Halloweens too but thankfully not this year. Plus we had 60 degree weather. Woot!
