Dear Bennett: 'Can you imagine the alternative?' I represent that remark. Ha! Ha! We all know that you are the cutest no matter what your hair looks like - let us not forget that you are a trend setter and no doubt we will soon be seeing (or do we see it now??) long hair and bedhead on the 'Runways of New York'.

I was the lucky one - having a chance to visit with Bennett, Mom, and Dad BEFORE the BD party. I think I was more taken with Bennett's new "light up" sneakers than he was. On Monday night, I called and Bennett was at Mummu and poppa's for dinner. I "almost" had him saying "Hi" on the phone - it's a good start - he wanted the receiver in his hand all the time. Ah - the beginning of many "long distance" moments.
Thank you again for coming by and visiting on Saturday afternoon. Glad you all enjoyed the BD party. Every time I see you all - I am aware of how blessed we are to have you in our lives. You are truly a gift from God in my life.
