Four Christmases

This year marks our fourth Christmas with Bennett. It's incredible how quickly kids grow up isn't it? In the early days we thought the days would never end and now I would like the days to go more slowly so I can enjoy my little boy.

We've had a nice Christmas - it has been a busy month - Disney, Birthdays, Christmas....I hope everyone is having a nice holiday too. Christmas can be a difficult time for many people - a fact that our "must be happy all the time - especially at Christmas" society tends to overlook. For anyone who for any reason is having a difficult time right now - my Christmas wish for you is peace.

Your last paragraph was, by far, the best phrased evah! of the concept I've seen. Thank you.

Having a good time here. Good to have our CollegeSon home.

Dear Barbara, Jim, Bennett, & Murphy:
Thank you for this wonderful and sensitive post. Christmas can be a difficult and painful time for many. It gives us pause to remember how lucky we are. When I saw Bennett in the carry-chair, I remembered holding him on Dec 25th, just over 4 years ago. He was so tiny. Now he's a big boy and we are so grateful for his presence in our lives and so very proud - of him as well as his mom, dad, and Murphy! Lots of love and Christmas blessings, Auntie Bonnie

Merry Christmas! I love seeing the photos of Bennett as he gets bigger! How can he be 3 already? He is such a handsome little boy! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas!

I miss the baby Bennett!!! He was such a little bundle,a well swaddled bundle. Jim could wrap him tight enough to stand him in a corner, but a little arm always seemed to make it's way out no matter how well wrapped he was. LOL. Love the big boy that he has become, always wanting to help, making us laugh, and always wanting to learn more and more and more.....We love him to pieces.
Lots of love, hugs and kisses
