Really - you should consider writing a book - I'd be the first to read it.
I just spoke to Sue this morning and she told me Bennett walked accross the living room yesterday without his brace on. Go Buddy, go!
I am so thrilled.

Can't wait to see him on Sunday.

Auntie GatesAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13989094862571735879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6055416215192481676.post-66835414738408886212008-12-12T16:33:00.000-05:002008-12-12T16:33:00.000-05:00No matter the weather, the "I gotta go..." wail ca...No matter the weather, the "I gotta go..." wail can happen at the most inopportune moments. Welcome to parenting!

I'm pretty sure saying "no matter the weather" to a Canadian is like saying the salsa was made in New York to a Texan. Just. Shouldn't. Sorry.
Another BarbaraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6055416215192481676.post-65299645787090722932008-12-12T01:39:00.000-05:002008-12-12T01:39:00.000-05:00Hi! Until I had kids, I thought winter was the best season, I'm not one for heat. But life is so much easier when you don't have to spend 10 minutes getting ready to go out. And, we can't seem to keep a single pair of mittens intact in this house!

Still, looking forward to getting some snow one of the years, we're near New York and don't get the storms like we used to. Watch, now I just jinxed us, we'll be getting one guaranteed on the day we're supposed to take off to Florida for vacation.Ellen Seidmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01433429847255621203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6055416215192481676.post-15319243569282174382008-12-11T19:13:00.000-05:002008-12-11T19:13:00.000-05:00Hi Barbara. I smiled when I read your e-mail. Ye...Hi Barbara. I smiled when I read your e-mail. Yes, we have had way too much snow! Getting kids ready to go out in winter - what a joy eh? I'm sure the neighbours would have loved to see your naked snow angel.

How are the plans for the BD bash for Bennett on the 14th? Sorry I have to miss it. I'm singing at Constable Laurie Hawkins funeral on Saturday. Such a tragedy for that family. That kind of heart ache puts the things we put up with into perspective, I suppose. By the way, I did find a wonderful toy store with GREAT bath toys - beside the A & W on Lasalle. I loved that store. I hope to go in there some day when I have time to actually play!

Take good care - and much love to you, Jim, and Bennett.
Auntie BonnieBonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05780010795057164662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6055416215192481676.post-50470482218869747952008-12-11T06:10:00.000-05:002008-12-11T06:10:00.000-05:00Barbara, you always seem to hit the 'nail right on...Barbara, you always seem to hit the 'nail right on the head'!

Weather (these days anyway), Humbug!

'Mommy, I have to pe' - a phrase heard only too often and that is why we (as adults) always make a last minute 'pit stop' before we leave the house.

Oh yes, with age (hopefully) comes wisdom.

We do learn so many things as we get older and with experience!

Cherish these moments because before you know it they are gone.

... We have but today to live and enjoy ... we only pass this way but once.

Love and prayers for continued eventful days with your loved ones!

God Bless!

Mummu and Poppa
xxx ooo xxx oooMummu and Poppahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09229973945367824771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6055416215192481676.post-29564442408017818122008-12-10T23:56:00.000-05:002008-12-10T23:56:00.000-05:00Hi Barbara,I'm Mel and I am the mom of Piper, she'...Hi Barbara,
I'm Mel and I am the mom of Piper, she's also a right hemi. It always seemed to take forever, and of course, just as I got done getting you dressed, you would announce that you had to go pee. All that AFTER I asked you if you had to pee before you got dressed. Your answer was always NO! AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH.

I HATE LISTENING TO PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WEATHER!!! Your dad is a good example. I swear that he takes it personally, as if the weather god was out to get him.
I don't often complain about our weather because there isn't a hell of a lot I can do to change it, so I might as well deal with it.
In the winter I stay indoors and in the summer I stay were there is air-conditioning. THAT is how I handle the weather.
Did I mention I HATE THE COLD???
Lots of love, hugs and kisses Mother (aka Mikey...Grandma)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6055416215192481676.post-9253184350804487382008-12-10T17:51:00.000-05:002008-12-10T17:51:00.000-05:00Hey Northern Neighbor!
